Insight actuaries and consultants wanted to use Microsoft Teams for external calling but as calling plans are not available in South Africa, they approached NBConsult to implement hosted Teams calling. This is where we connect our PBX and SBC to their Microsoft Teams, so they can make and receive external phone calls via Microsoft Teams.
Hosted Teams calling gives customers the ability to consume Teams calling within their own Office 365 environment without the need to install, configure and maintain expensive and technical hardware.
COVID forced everyone to find alternative ways of communication as hard lockdowns was implemented by Governments that forced all companies to work remotely. Having Microsoft Teams as a single platform for meetings, calling and file sharing made collaboration so much easier, said Eric Wilkins the Network Administrator at Insight Actuaries and Consultants.
